Fear of flying

May 5, 2019

I never really liked flying although I was not afraid of it. However I had a really terrifying flight that just frightened the life out of me. For the next 20 years I suffered, along with my poor husband and anyone else who was near me on the plane. It was absolute purgatory getting on and enduring a flight. I would reach my destination drained and fraught.

As part of my training as an EFT Practitioner myself and the rest of the students all used real life examples in order to learn. I was in front of the rest of the class while the tutor used my ‘painful memory’ of that terrifying flight to demonstrate how EFT would be used in this type of situation. I must have been there only about 10 minutes and did not really feel any different afterwards.

However when I took the next flight after the EFT session I was a totally different person. The fear has just gone! I have to be honest I still don’t like flying but that is exactly where I am back to as that is how I felt before the bad flight. The emotional charged memory has been neutralised and I am now back to how I was before. Genius.

Anxiety and stress

June 25, 2019

I unfortunately know only too well the physical and emotional effects of anxiety. Mine was mostly work related but as you know anxiety and stress can come from many sources and usually more than one at a time.

I only wish I had known then, what I know now. I found out about EFT at the beginning of 2018 and have never looked back. I have tried lots of things to help to stay calm and grounded but really this is the best things I have found.

It is effective at neutralising stressors, big and small. That in itself is helpful enough but the effects are cumulative which means it can stop stressful events and situations layering one on top of another until it all gets too much.

Nearly all of the work I have done with clients on anxiety usually just takes one session.

August 6, 2019

I have had really good results with phobias using EFT, all the clients I have seen so far have only required one session.

The treatment works in the same way whether it be for dentists, needles, lifts, flying, crocodiles, wasps, snakes, balloons, the list goes on and on.

Please feel free to get in touch with any questions, Justine

Fear of driving (or certain aspects of it)

January 21, 2020

Say there was someone you knew who found driving completely unnerving. Maybe there’s just something in particular that really causes them stress or anxiety. It may have been a bad experience in the past - something they are struggling to forget.

They may have told you about this fear and will do whatever they can to avoid having to drive. Maybe they can’t even contemplate being a passenger. Or perhaps they haven’t shared their phobia with you at all, and they just try their best to cope.

I would guess they would love to rid themselves of this fear and move on.

Past events have a habit of staying with you in the ‘here and now’.

But tapping is a gentle yet powerful antidote to releasing a past trauma so that it no longer troubles you, day to day.

If you know someone who might be in this situation (or is experiencing something similar) please urge them to try tapping therapy – it’s quick, effective and can help them overcome their anxiety, for good.
