I am committed to protecting your privacy and protecting your personal data. I am registered with data Controller (Reference No A8423803). 


Your confidential information and how it is used. 

During our therapy sessions notes will be taken in order to help us progress. They will be kept for a period of six years (to comply with insurance requirements) after which they will be destroyed. The only other details that will remain on file are your contact details.


Your rights

You have the right to request what date I hold about you.


Sharing of data

Occasionally it might be necessary to discuss an issue with my mentor. However the mentor does not know the name or any identifying details about the people concerned.


Security of your data

Information will be kept securely and confidentially in line with the data retention policy. All electronic data is stored in encrypted documents on a secure server.

Unfortunately the transmission of information via the internet and email may not be completely secure. Although every effort is made to protect your personal data the security of your data cannot be guaranteed, any such transmission is at your own risk.


Lawful basis for processing your information

The lawful basis for my holding and using your information is in relation to the delivery of a contract to you as a health care professional. As a member of AAMET I operate under a strict code of confidentiality.
